Tipperary’s preparations for Sunday’s National Hurling League semi-final have been given a huge boost.The Central Appeals Committee last night overturned the one-match suspension handed down to Seamus Callanan.The full forward was sent off in the quarter final against Offaly and had looked set to miss Sunday’s game against Waterford. Meanwhile former Tipp senior hurler John Kennedy says he expects an extremely competitive game between Tipp and Waterford this weekend.Kennedy – who won two All-Irelands with the Premier County – says he expects Waterford to play without fear when they come up against a Tipp side looking to reach their third successive League final.Throw-in on Sunday is at four o’clock in Nowlan Park and Tipp FM will have full live coverage in association with Ormond Tiles, Summerhill, Nenagh and Kenyon Bar, Kenyon Street, Nenagh.
Bosnia and Herzegovina national basketball team defeated Montenegro in the final match of the International tournament in Travnik with a score of 102 to 82.Although the victory was pretty convincing, Josip Pandža’s team did not have an easy game, because Montenegro was largely in advantage.However, the turning point occurred in the third quarter when the Bosnian team played much better and were able to turn the lead.The best one was Džanan Musa with 40 scored points, two rebounds and five assists, Čampara had 18 points, and Kočić 16.
